Writer's Workshop Mission Statement

Saturday's writer's workshop provided ideas. Written as part of an exercise was there was the following mission statement. I like it, for now. It's changed from my original mission, which used to simply be, "Write something that I'd want to read."
Now, it's:
"To author works (fiction, fantasy, sci-fi, heroics, stories! etc.) that motivate and uplift in a positive way via fiction (fantasy, sci-fi, heroics) and stories. To write something people look up to, learn from, and be constantly entertained by."

The positivity meant is the tone and style of the work, mostly. So although bad things can happen in them, the writing style itself doesn't depress the reader, but instead makes them wonder what is coming next. Whether it will be resolved. Or how a character will cope and overcome a pessimistic problem.

I have a feeling that will change as time goes by, but that fits a little with the book I'm working on now, the sequel to The Lupine Prince.
