How can there be more the second time?!

Last Monday I said I had finished reading and resubmitting the first proof copy of the book. Well, yesterday, another Monday, I finished reading and resubmitting the second proof copy.

And I found more errors than before. Ones I hadn't seen before, ones I had but had left to stylistic interpretation. And structure. And various other things. While doing that in my copy, my sister read the first proof for the first time. She found some mistakes I had missed, but only a few.

She said, as did the other readers who've seen it so far, that the intro takes a little time to get into. But it then picked up quickly and kept their interest. She read most of the book in a single day. That's good praise, in my opinion.
